IRVING -- Cowboys outside linebacker DeMarcus Ware was one of four players who were not seen during the media portion of practice Wednesday.
Ware is bothered by back spasms.
Meanwhile, rookie linebacker Bruce Carter, a second-round draft pick, made his debut at practice Wednesday after spending the first six weeks on the non-football injury list and worked with the punt coverage unit.
Nearby was Montrae Holland, who rejoined the Cowboys on Tuesday and was seen working with the first team at left guard before the players began stretching.
