IRVING -- Montrae Holland made a better first impression in his second chance.
The veteran guard worked out for the Dallas Cowboys on Tuesday, 10 pounds lighter than when he was released in September. He was on the practice field Wednesday after being re-signed.
Most signs point to him starting on Sunday against the St. Louis Rams.

Holland, hampered by a hamstring injury in training camp, said he had been working out with former NFL center LeCharles Bentley in Ohio. He had come back to Texas this week because of a death in the family and his father's knee surgery.
