Josh Freeman -- 4 INT game, 5.18 yards per attempt against the Bears. 51 QB Rating. 7:10 TD:INT ratio for the year. (This is the guy Jimmy Johnson said Romo needs to emulate in taking care of the football)

Joe Flacco -- 137 yards on a mere 38 passing attempts, for an amazing 3.61 ypa. Puts up 7 points against a Jaguars defense that previously gave up 30 points to the Bengals. 76 QB rating for the year.

Phillip Rivers -- 2 INTs in the 4th quarter that allowed an improbable Jets comeback win. Currently with a 7:9 TD:INT ratio for the year, but still keeping a QB rating above 80 for the year ... barely.

Matt Ryan -- Congrats to the Falcons for overcoming Matt Ryan's 218 yards passing, 1 TD, 2 INT, 60 QB rating performance. Ryan now has a near even TD:INT ratio at 9:8 for the season, and has a season QB rating below 80. 6.68 ypa

Oh, and as a measuring stick ... our untrustworthy spare national disgrace QB who we'll never win with, and that "lots" of QBs around the league are better than (including supposedly most on this list).... 93 QB rating for the year, 10:6 TD:INT ratio, 65% completion rate, 8.09 ypa

The NFL is a copycat league, as we all know, and teams are looking at the success of the Packers, Saints, Patriots, etc are are trying to emulate their offenses.

The problem of course becomes when you don't have a Rogers, Brees or Brady at QB, this doesn't really work and leads to a lot of INTs.

Furthermore, defensive coordinators are finally catching up a bit to all the offense we saw in the first few weeks of the season and designing defenses to stop them.

It has been slim pickings in the NFL for decent QB's for sure this year. I've already released Ryan and Freeman in my fantasy league. Romo and Newton have been my saving grace. Some guy gave up on Romo after the Lions game so I snatched him up.

I see nothing in Flacco that makes me think the kid is an elite QB. I think the Ravens are going to be headed back to the well for another QB prospect.

Sometimes Jimmy says things that make him sound like an idiot.

You left out Colt McCoy, Blaine Gabbert and Matt Moore. These guys are not lighting it up.

McCoy and Gabbert are both avoiding the big interception numbers, but they are throwing a bunch of low risk passes. They average 5.5 and 5.7 yards per attempt, respectively. I am surprised that Colt is ranked 4th in pass attempts and 2nd in pass attempts per game. Moore has just been bad.

Yeah Freeman has really been letting Jimmy down after he made those comments about him protecting the ball.

I think he's had 2 multiple INT games since that comment, IIRC.

Anyone who has watched a Falcons game could tell you that Matt Ryan has blown about 12 touchdown passes this year. His WR's get open deep on a pretty frequent basis, and he overthrows them every single time. lol.
