After spending the first six weeks of the season on the Non-Football Injury list, Cowboys second-round pick Bruce Carter took a step forward last week to practice with the team for the first time.
At some point, Carter is expected to be added to the 53. The question is whether his first appearance will be as soon as Sunday in Philadelphia.
"We'll continue to evaluate Bruce's situation," Jason Garrett said. "He looked good last week and it was fun to see him move around as a football player, as opposed to a guy running on the side of a football field. It looks like he's comfortable and relatively confident in his knee. We'll watch him again and just see how he does."
