View Full Version : Peters: I'll Be Out There Vs. Cowboys

The Week 7 bye was fortuitous timing for an Eagles team that had been without two Pro Bowl linemen for two games. On Monday, during the team's 10-10-10 practice session, defensive end Trent Cole returned, as did fellow defensive end Brandon Graham, who had been on the physically unable to perform list. On the other side of the line of scrimmage, the Eagles also welcomed back All-Pro Jason Peters, who had missed two games with a hamstring injury.
And while the offensive line acquitted themselves quite well shuffling pieces in Peters' absence, the return of the 6-foot-4, 328-pound athletic marvel is a good sign for an offense that must prepare for a Dallas Cowboys defense that features the likes of DeMarcus Ware, who ranks second in the league with 8.0 sacks.
The bye "was great timing," Peters told PhiladelphiaEagles.com Tuesday. "Now I'm coming back against the Cowboys and trying to get another win.
"I'm feeling good. I'm just working myself back into it."

I'm calling for Ware to have like 2 or 3 sacks and a FF.

I don't think there is a LT in the whole league more over rated.

Seriously. The guy had one real good year in BLo and has done diddly since.

Hasn't Ware destroyed this guy just about every time we've played the Eagles? Predicting some Trent Cole-esque ankle tackles out of him.

Um, Philly was 1-1 without Peters, 1-4 with him.
I love this from the article "... the Eagles now have an embarrassment of riches along the line."
Embarrassment should only be used on the Eagle's website in regards to their overall record and Dream Team status.

I'm pretty sure Buffalo wasted the pick, but them getting a first for him was robbery.

Isn't this kind of like getting your 78 Pinto out of the shop?
