Cowboys playmakers not making big gains

An accurate quarterback and two speedy, athletic wide receivers don't always make for a dangerous vertical passing game.
Prime example: the Dallas Cowboys.
With an offense that includes Tony Romo under center and two top-shelf playmakers in Miles Austin and Dez Bryant, the Cowboys seemingly have the ingredients to put together plenty of passing plays covering 20 yards or more.
But that hasn't been the case of late. During the last three weeks, Romo has averaged fewer than three pass plays of 20 yards or more after amassing almost six per game during the first four games.
