IRVING, Texas -- Mat McBriar went through a regular pre-game warmup Friday and said he kicked fine, but he is not sure he will be able to play Sunday against Seattle.
McBriar is dealing with a case of drop foot in which he cannot raise his toes on his left foot. He was fitted for a different brace this week that he believes will help after punting only three times last week at Philadelphia.
“It’s definitely puzzling,” McBriar said. “Sometimes it’s fine. Other times it flares up. It’s sort of tough to deal with. Frustrating.”...

If McBriar cannot play, then the Cowboys could call up Chris Jones from the practice squad, but they would have to make that move by 3 p.m. Saturday for Jones to play against the Seahawks.
Look Hos, another kicker!!!!

I think you call up Chris Jones and give Mat McBriar the week off. When you're playing a team like Seattle and you don't find a way to win, it's probably not because your star punter didn't get to start. Plus, I'm sure the Jones kid is ready to go, it's not like he's some scrub off the street. He's a 4-time All-SAC athlete, it could be a lot worse.
...Just looked it up and it looks like he got called up.

Loper got cut, but I'm sure he'll go straight to practice squad once he clears waivers and then right back on the roster when McBriar's back. Personally, I'd think about signing Aaron Brown RB out of TCU. I don't like rolling with only two healthy running backs. Especially considering Murray's been injured before.

Loper is not eligible for PS.
My guess is that since Dockery and Holland are both healthy now he is no longer needed.
Eventually McBriar will go on the IR or the new punter will be released. At that point we'll bring in someone off someone else's PS to churn the roster. My guess is it will be an interior OL.
