ARLINGTON -- Tony Romo was booed early. Booed for doing right. He went into a slide just short of the goal line, meaning a red-zone possession ended in a field goal.

Did the boo-birds forget the ribs? Or forget the Jets game of September and what happened when Romo attempted to bulldoze the end zone on a scramble?

Restless crowd. Regrouping team.

Both factors were definitely in play here Sunday afternoon. There was a game that needed to be won. There was a season that needed resuscitation.

The team is in a tough spot. Games like this against teams like the Seahawks and Rams don't count for much other than notches in the win column. They don't bring much in the way of respect or confidence.

It's almost a no-win situation. If you win it's because the opponent is a prro team and that's what you were supposed to do. And if you lose, all heck will break loose.

Of course I'm glad they won, but it definitely looks like there's work to do in the area of redzone offense and the run defense has slipped the past few weeks.

Happy with the win, but looking for improvement.
