I thought Romo handled it well. Sharpe's questions were kind of dickish.

Did they give Romo as translator for Sharpe?

The interview was fair.
Romo's answers were very good.
He handles his role as the player ambassador of this franchise with dignity, humility and aplomb. We are lucky to have him both for his ability as a player as well as his character off the field.

I don't think they were unreasonable at all. You have to realize that it's what everybody says about Romo and he knows it. You can't just pretend that nobody questions him.

No, it wasn't that much. He said Aikman was on Romo, Aikman never has critisized Romo, ala Deion. That was total misquote or wrong to bundle Aikman and Romo.
But Romo I thought handled it very well, regardless of the questions.

Nobody is pretending anything. The questions were fair game. It's only football for god sake. I just felt the questions were not objective and were very leading along the narrative that Romo can't handle the pressure of being the Dallas quarterback. For that, I felt the questions were dickish. If you don't, then good for you.

Yeah, pretty much Romo has become my favorite Cowboys QB ever.
I missed this interview early, was glad to find it here. Thanks OP.

I agree. I thought Shape asked many question that are talked about here and Romo addressed it as a professional

Yeah, not sure where that came from. I've only heard praise and support from Aikman. Maybe I missed an interview. But to lump him in with Deion was just crap.
But overall good interview. Romo handled it well as he always does.

And really, I thought Sharpe asked those questions professionally. He didn't go all "Ed Werder" on him.

I agree. Sharpe just asked question that are asked by many Cowboy fans and I saw nothing of him trying to twist Romo words. I had no issues at all with it not sure why anyone else would?

I can see Tony eventually in the booth. Very quick witted. He can send Bradshaw into retirement finally. Hopefully after he wins a couple of rings first.
