Dallas Cowboys: Dez Bryant’s circus catch ignites 44-7 victory

The NFL play of the day might have occurred barely past noon: Dez Bryant’s leaping catch over Buffalo Bills defensive Leodis McKelvin for a 34-yard touchdown.
“Dez is one of a kind freak athlete,” said Dallas Cowboy teammate Laurent Robinson. “Some of the catches he makes in practice are unreal.”
The catch he made in the game was equally so. On the game’s opening drive, Tony Romo launched a pass into the end zone. McKelvin had inside position, but Dez launched from about the 3-yard line, high and into the end zone, and reached over and around the 5-foot-10 defender, grabbed the ball with a slight juggle and gave the Cowboys a quick lead, en route to a 44-7 victory.
