IRVING -- The Dallas Cowboys are hopeful injured running back Felix Jones will be able to practice this week, but they don't have anything in mind yet for him when he returns.
"Don't have a specific plan for him," Cowboys coach Jason Garrett said. "What we want to do is have him have a good couple of days here leading up to practice on Wednesday.... We just want to get him back into action."
Jones has been out since suffering an ankle injury against New England four weeks ago. He led the Cowboys in rushing before he was hurt, with 253 yards on 63 carries, but rookie DeMarco Murray has thrived as his replacement.
