I'll throw this out there. Any thoughts on resigning George and move him to FB, I doubt Richie recoveries completely from his surgery. What about George at FB? Excuse this possible absurd thought, but is this a small possibility?

How'd he do running and catching last year?

Yet, you want to bring him back this year?

I highly doubt Eddie George would be interested in playing fullback...or re-signing here. :)

He still thinks he's a top level tailback no way he'd accept being a fb plus from what I saw his blocking ablility is nothing special.

I don't think that it will happen, but I have thought about it myself. Of course I also thought hambrick could make the change to fullback also.

George will likely be a June 1st cut. He's not a fullback. I also expect that we'll draft a tailback and see what our other backups can do throughout the offseason. Depending how they perform, George may be expendable as the backup tailback.

Who is our fullback by the way? Is it still Jamaar Martin?

Just to let you know, George only signed a one year deal and is already free to sign with any team.

I'm sure the offers are coming in fast and furious!

The Eddie George experience was painful. He cannot block. He can no longer run the ball with any effectiveness. He's not effective catching the ball. He doesn't play special teams. And the veteran leadership that he supposed to bring seemed non-existent.

I don't believe anyone could dispute these facts. If the Cowboys re-signed Eddie George, I would run around in circles three times, twirl my index finger above my head and then poke my own self in the eye. All this while kicking myself in the back side yelling "THANK YOU SIR, MAY I HAVE ANOTHER." Just plain crazy!
