I absolutely hate Tim Tebow and I hated planking and owling and all that stuff, but Tebowing or as I would like to call it the modified thinker, is absolutely legit.

I don't really hate Tebow he seems like a nice enough guy, i do hate having him showed down my throat as the greatest thing to ever happen to the NFL though. I hope the Jets pummel him good so i don't have to hear about him for a week

Even if he gets pummeled, it'll take a season or two of this for the nfl and the media to stop caring.

I think he would be better suited as a tight end.

I hate Tebowing too...but when me and my friends play around Thanksgiving, there's is absolutely ZERO chance that I don't do it when I get a TD. And there's maybe 1% chance that it's not my facebook prof pic a week or so after that :laugh2:

I like Tebow as a person but good Lord I can't wait till teams adjust and we can stop hearing about him. There is no excuse to ever lose to a QB who throws for 30 yards a game and won't even have 1k yards on the season.

What the hell is wrong with you? How can you hate Tim Tebow? All the hype stuff that's not his fault blame the media. Tebow is EASILY my favorite non Cowboy.

It's legit because it's a great pose, and that is why Rodin created it when he created the thinker statue, which the tebow has essentially robbed.

I hate Tim Tebow because he is ruining the NFL. What I saw today was the worst game of football, and I have to hear about it for more and more weeks, because there is a media love/hate affair with this kid.

Dude doesn't throw the ball, he isn't a QB. His team scored 10 offensive points.

Ruining the NFL? You've got a guy that has limited skills but a lot of determination, and a team that is inspired by that determination and is coming together and finding a way to win. How is that bad for the NFL? Isn't that what the NFL is about? Just win baby?

I'll agree the hype is overblown and can be wearisome but the kid has no control over that. He's just doing what he does.

I just saw the worst game of football that I have ever watched in my life... That is in my opinion ruining the nfl.

This isn't going to last, but it's going to be prolonged by the hype surrounding him.

I'm ready to hear the end of it. Tebowing should stay though.

Negative sir, while the Cowboys played poorly in that game it wasn't due to inability.

I saw an average college player, playing at the pro level against a terrible quarterback who shouldn't a be a starter in this league.

Bingo. Why in the world we have people who hate a guy like that is beyond me. I was skeptical that Tebow could win as an NFL QB, but he's starting to prove me wrong already.. and watching how his team rallies around him is inspiring for sure.

I'm still not sure if he can win consistently with his limited skill set at the QB position, but just because there are people in the world like the OP, who sounds like a complete doofus with his post, i hope Tebow has a long, successful career in the NFL and wins a couple super bowls. No reason at all to hate a guy like that.

Unreal how we have people here who completely hate a guy like Tebow, yet we have people who defend the behavior of morons like DeSean Jackson.

Even if he gets pummeled, it'll take a season or two of this for the nfl and the media to stop caring.

I think he would be better suited as a tight end.The media "buzz' for Tim Tebow will increase and decrease depending on the amount of success the Denver Broncos offense will achieve in the future. There will not be a caring time limit unless he one day finds himself outside the League. Even if that day comes, the question of, "What happened to Tebow?" would drive unnecessary media speculation for quite some time afterward in my opinion.

Controversy fuels media sensationalism. Media sensationalism attracts viewers, listeners and readers. Significant viewers, listeners and readers "justifies" costs passed on to media clients for (increased) levels of advertising revenue. Revenue (or money) prevents the story from dying.

It may be considered as a vicious cycle, but it is what it is.

Psssst... It probably has to do with him being Christian.

The media is swarming like buzzards waiting on him to fail so they can rag on him and his faith.

I have no idea why people hate this guy? I'm indifferent on him haven't really listened to anything he has to say I know he is a wholly Roller and even though I don't believe in his religious views its all personal and if someone believes in a light post outside and that makes him a better person GOOD for them. The media absouloutly hates this kid from what I understand he won 2 National championships and the heisman. But he is a good kid, whats to hate I don't get it? We have many more imbeciles out there doing negative crap and here is a kid who is winning games despite his coaching staff and his General manager Mr Elway who is playing mind games with this kid . I'm glad he won last night and hope he keeps winning and eventually gets on a team that appreciates his gifts instead of vilifying him Keep your chin up Kid

This is exactly how I feel as well. I'm neither a fan nor hater of Tebow but I have to admit, it's fun to watch him win. It's almost like he's just a regular joe off the street who's lost at the position but still finds a way to succeed.

I don't think it will last unless he improves considerably as a passer but he's fun to watch in the meantime. His faith is irrelevant to me. I just enjoy how the media bashes him non-stop and yet he keeps winning.

Just for the record .. I would not be happy if he were in the NFC East doing that though. But it is fun when it is another conference/division's problem. :D

So an average college QB who makes it to the NFL and is winning games against PROFESSIONAL teams is ruining the league?

LOL! I bet the NFL would LOVE more stories like this so they could continue being ruined by the lousy QB's jerseys being sold.

Ruining the league? Man that is funny.

I think it's mainly part that he is so popular. It's almost like the reason so many other fans hate Cowboys fans, because we are very popular.

We should be able to relate to him to be honest.

This kind of stuff makes me love it more and more when the kid just finds ways to win. I hope it lasts and lasts and lasts.

Beyond the guy seemingly being a stand up, classy, good individual (something I'm always willing to root for) the losing their mind reactions of people toward him is priceless.

He is probably one of the most entertaining athletes in all of pro sports. When he has a bad game, the Tebow slander is always hilarious. When he wins, it is fun to see the Tebow haters/critics take it so seriously :laugh2:

Tebow ruining the NFL ? Your being a little bit of a drama queen with that line. He is different from the usual QBs , but in no way has his play ruined anything other than the Bronco`s chance to get Luck. Did Vick ruin the NFL? He plays the position different than most QBs. I don`t care how Tebow plays the position . That is his choice. If the wins keep coming , I`m sure that the Broncos team and fans won`t care either.

According to your beliefs. I used to be the same as Tebow. I'm not saying this in a condescending way, but if you've not walked in our shoes and don't have the same outlook on life, you wouldn't understand. Of course, it would seem dorkish to you. But being able to have a relationship with a woman/women and not be thinking about sex or getting into their pants is quite liberating. I wish I were still that way, to be honest. (I'm married)
