We all know Robert Wagner did it (allegedly)

I was in college at the time, and our Physic's prof came in one day (not long after the event) and asked, "OK class what kind of wood doesn't float?"

Now you know the answer. :)

I don't know that .. they were drunk and stoned and it's really suspicious that the captain only comes clean now that a book he co-authored is being released.

True or not, instigating controversy right at the launch of a book is a tried-and-true practice. Truth is not necessary to achieve the goal of selling a lot of books, only the question of it is.

That's cold. Kinda of funny though. She was damn good looking. Whatever happened was a shame.

Sounds like the good Cap'n needs some cash.

Indeed, she was a looker extraordinaire, IMHO.

Like me, Bob Wagner's too pretty to survive in prison.

You might be right about that although Wood was more filled out if you know what I mean.

Well it's kind of odd that a woman with an intense fear of deep water would lean over the railing to fasten the dingy. Which is one explanation I read.

Even more strange if she meant to take the dingy out by herself in the middle of the night. Another theory offered.

When I saw her in Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice...I was hooked.

I always thought it was very odd about her death.

She died on November 29th 1981.

Wagner's co star on Hart to Hart was Stephanie Powers.

She was in a long relationship with William Holden. He died 17 days earlier on November 12th 1981 being found dead in his apartment after falling and hitting his head.

Powers childhood friend was Jill St. John. In early 1982, Wagner began a nine year relationship with Jill St. John.

(Not that long of a grieving process.)

they were all admittedly drunk at the least and possibly walken was stoned as well. So really it seems more like a publicity thing then anything else. Clearly the captain is doing it to pump up interest in his book. Otherwise he would not have waited 30 years to say something. Sadly I think the LA police are also publicity hunting; trying to prop up their rep which is pretty sad in many ways.
