Romo's chance to write his own story

By Dan Graziano

There is no performance Tony Romo can deliver right now, no pre-February game he can win that will change the way some people think of him.

With Romo there is no middle ground. From one of the extremes there is, and always seemingly will be, a heaping helping of doubt. Part of that is of his own making -- the ill-timed interceptions, the botched field-goal snap, etc. Part of it just comes with being the Dallas Cowboys' quarterback. But the doubt is always there -- always a part of the boldface Romo narrative.

these morons act like he has single-handedly lost many games--bet he or anyone else can't name 5--and he uses "etc." to act like it's obvious--I don't drink the Romo koolaide but hate that nonsense

I felt it was well balanced article. I honestly don't think you can find a single cowboy fan who isn't pulling for Romo to make amends and bring a parade to Dallas.

I'm one who doesn't think Romo has anything to make amends for.

If the team was good enough to go 17-2 in November why not December? Why not the play offs? Romo is the QB and the ball is in his hands. Its a QBs league. I find the constant excuses for why he cant get the wins when the team needs them ridiculous considering it was good enough to go 13-3, 11-5, 9-7 etc and he has his 40 plus wins. Yet when we fold, he's got nothing to do with it because he won all those meaningless games against bad teams in November.

I am much more interested in the FACT that hes gone 8-10 rolling into the play offs than what hes done on November. Thats when championship teams find their grove. SB QBs usually elevate their play when the teams need them. We do not get that from our guy very often, not when it matters.

HE is responsible for getting us over the hump. He's got the talent and the ball. Our lack of success is really a joke all things considered. Go do it and shut up.
