I'm sure it's in the videos (too busy to check atm), but with over 4 mins left in the 4th quarter, Phil Simms said, and I paraphrase "We're in perfect position for another epic Cowboys collapse here".

I just wanted to say, **** you Phil.

witten seemed like an ******* to that security guard. never seen him like that.

goes to show that it's just a facade the way players act in front of the media.

It's called being in the zone. He was also probably a bit ticked that when people on the sideline see you come barreling in they don't make more of an effort to get the heck out of the way.

i think he was facing the other direction. he's also about 450 pounds and would have a hard time getting away.

Eh maybe so, but I don't think Witten has some act that he puts on. He seems like a good person to me.

Must have been it. I restarted my computer and it asked if I wanted to update Flash. I did and now the videos are back.

Are you serious? Have you ever played football? Witten was fired up at a critical moment in the game and he reacted. Adrenaline flowing and it seemed (to him) like noone got out of the way when he went out of bounds so he yelled. Jason Witten is one of the biggest class acts in all of sports. I met the guy this summer and he could not have been nicer to me or my son. The only person you could probably find that would say a negative thing about him is T.O. You see that brief, emotional moment after a collision during a game and jump to THAT conclusion?! Unbelievable.

Perfectly appropriate commentary by Simms IMO. The Cowboys were teetering on the edge of losing this game and the NFC East consequences would've been significant. Yes, it would have been crushing.

But Simms is no hater. Rest assured that other announcers would've been criticizing Romo for his reckless play during the last TD drive. Frankly, he deserved it. But Simms heaped praise on Romo for the drive calling it all Romo.

^ This. Even though the security guard was doing his job and facing the opposite direction, Jason Witten's main focus was doing HIS job. He was not intentionally trying to injure someone else--especially not someone who was not playing on the football field protected by gear and padding.

Witten was totally amped about getting his team as close to the endzone as possible. He does not want to introduce thoughts into his mindset which will cloud his initiative, like barreling into a cheerleader and possibly putting her into a hospital (which almost happened during the game).

It was a spur of the moment reaction and was not contrived or preconceived. If your perception is that Jason Witten was a (whatever the heck you typed) bag, so be it. My question is whether you are willing to label many more players with the same description because this ain't peewee, high school or even college.

This is the NFL. Similar reactions have been repeated by other players, even high profile, poster boy players, practically every Sunday for almost a century. You and everyone else simply had the chance opportunity to hear it over an open microphone.

If you want to see and hear similar circumstances unfold within the context of an NFL game without the language, turn on a Denver Bronco game and only turn up the volume whenever Tim Tebow is carrying the ball. He would be more than happy to accommodate your atypical misconception(s).

I generally like Simms, was just surprised he'd make the comment with so much time left on the clock and Romo's penchant for comeback victories.

I would really like to extend many thanks to the people who put the time and effort into making these video's and to the ones who sticky them for easy findings.

Both my sis(ladiewolve) and my mother have both been battling health issues. So it's been rough trying to catch games. So these video makers have been a godsend for me this year and I really appreciate them.

Cool stuff, thanks for posting these.

On the Dez return, is it me or did we get away with one or two blocks in the back? In real time I thought for certain we were gonna get called (close or not).

who was the announcer that "corrected" the other announcer (who said "Cowboys hold off Miami in another drive") saying "It was Miami who held themselves on that drive" (paraphrased).

It seemed like he was bias if you listened to all his comments. I would not doubt it if it was Phil Simms but not sure.
