"It shouldn’t be cloaked in mystique," Jones said on his show. "It's just that it's hard for him to do football things. It's hard for him to do some things without nausea or without being incapable of doing them. So he’s certainly under the care of a real evaluation. Right now we can't and he can't function the way you have to, to play football. We don’t know, that’s it."

"We were probably trying to make sure we didn’t have a guessing game here at backup quarterback relative to Kitna," Jones said regarding the claim for Orton. "I don’t know on Kitna. We just have to see how that goes."

Jones also said wide receiver Miles Austin (hamstring) is questionable for the Arizona game, saying "maybe" when asked about his status. Jones said Mike Jenkins (hamstring) should play vs. Arizona.

"For sure," Jones said.

When Austin first had that hamstring pull, they should've kept him out for 2 months regardless. And not let him work out until the final 2 weeks of that 2 months.

No matter how much medical equipment you have, hamstrings need rest.

Miles has 10 more days to get healthy.

Where does it say Fiammetta is ruled out for Arizona?

10 days is a lot of time to get over sickness. Like I said, it's really ridiculous to rule him out, simply because they don't know what it is.

He could miraculously get over it today, know one knows. I'm sure he is being given some medication for his symptoms. I doubt that they have simply tried nothing and are just waiting to see what happens.

I could blame the writer but it sounds like a classic Jerryism, lol.

"Uh hemmm, the circle cannont be a square, if um hemmm.....if the hemmmm....if the circle is obviously a square...."

It wasn't even the same hamstring...

What medication is there for post concussion syndrome?

What medication is there for post concussion syndrome?

Has he been diagnosed with that? That would be news to me.

But to answer your question

There is no specific treatment for post-concussion syndrome. Instead, your doctor will treat the individual symptoms you're experiencing. The types of symptoms and their frequency are unique to each person.
Headaches
Medications commonly used for migraines or tension headaches, including some antidepressants, appear to be effective when these types of headaches are associated with post-concussion syndrome. Examples include:

Amitriptyline. This medication has been widely used for post-traumatic injuries, as well as for symptoms commonly associated with post-concussion syndrome, such as irritability, dizziness and depression.
Dihydroergotamine (D.H.E. 45) combined with metoclopramide (Reglan). These medications may provide relief for chronic headaches, but they must be administered intravenously in the hospital. Keep in mind that the overuse of over-the-counter and prescription pain relievers may contribute to persistent post-concussion headaches.

What options are available at backup QB if they don't think McGee is ready to take on that role? It looks like David Garrard is available but I'm not sure there are many other options.

Can we please get another fullback? I hope the guy is alright. Without a true lead blocker in the backfield our running game is not the same.... As seen the past two games.

That sucks.

I hope this isn't a Sidney Crosby situation.

It sure seems like it... Crosby was out 10 months.

P.S. Thanks for the merge.

If Brad Shamm is saying Fiammetta isn't playing again this year according to the people he talks to in the organization, you might as well accept it.
