Then why are they scoring so much more than us?

Play calling. They are superior in that aspect.

Props to Eli on that throw. That was a great throw.

you have to remember that the giants are just decimated with injuries so that's having a huge effect on their offensive playcalling and defense..

I can't see the Giants winning this game or next week either hosting Green Bay, and if Dallas can takes care of business next week in Arizona, they have a Sunday night primetime game to eliminate the Giants in two weeks...

No they're not. The Cowboys offense is every bit as good as the Saints. Our recievers are better than theirs. Give me Dez, Miles, Laurent, and Witten over Graham, Henderson, Meachem, and Colston any day of the week. Romo and Brees is a wash. Murray is much better than Sproles.
The Saints average nearly a full touchdown more than we do per game. That is a huge margin.
I think you left out one key component--Sean Payton.
Plus, like GB, the Saints WRs run MUCH better routes than our guys. it is just a much more effecient offense.
Ours is getting better though!

Our defesne is already better than theirs--which isn't saying a whole lot.

Wait until miles comes back. We have yet to have our full offense intact. With miles, robinson, dez, witten, and murray, sprinkled in with some felix, this is going to be a tough offense to stop.

Romo is playing great and the line continues to get better. Now if the defense can get healthy and start playing like they did earlier in the season, look out

Some of the older teachers at my son's school/day care in Highland Park (Dallas) were bragging a couple of years ago about how their "little Drew Brees" had won a Super Bowl. My son, Adam, has one of the same teachers that Brees had. :D Pretty cool.

No, that's not what I said, but if you want to believe Graham is better than Witten, then go right ahead. I'm talking about production and athletic ability. Even though Witten is primary, Bennett has had plenty of opportunity to showcase his abilities, but he hasn't. Graham has, in less time. If you don't see that, then you need to learn the game.

The Giants cannot be allowed to lose a close game, because that could still give a measure of frustration, anger, and "the knowledge we were still good enough to have won."

Rather, New York needs to lose by at least 17 or 20 points. That will demoralize the Giants significantly and they may lose steam for the Green Bay and Dallas games.

Bennett hasn't had the opportunity to be the starter here and never will. His snaps have been what a second TE sees on a yearly basis. All of this talk about Bennett not being another Jason Witten and how other TEs in the league are doing better are because of this fact. The second TE in this offense is a primary blocker and always will be.

I will keep complaining, because again I really don't understand what the league expects a DB to do in that situation. Stand there and watch him catch the ball? How quickly is he supposed to process when the receiver goes from defenseless to a legal target?

I get the lead with the helmet thing - that is a technique issue. But expecting a DB to make a split second decision every time when he can hit a receiver and when he can't is way too unfair.

I don't believe that ref called that penalty because he led with his head nor because the receiver was defenseless. IMO, he called it a penalty because it "looked" and "sounded" violent ....and violent and at the same time entertaining plays, aren't allowed anymore. It's a complete joke.

I love the way the Packers spend a 2nd or 3rd round pick on a WR every year. They don't need the one superstar Jerry Rice or TO to feed targets and an oversized ego. They spread you out with 4-5 guys who can take a simple slant route to the house at any moment. Rodgers is amazing, but frankly their bread and butter routes are the back shoulder sideline fade and simple slant which are simple throws. They just have so many playmakers on the field at one time.

Honestly, it does not matter. They simply cannot play defense. Rodgers will carve them up next week, no doubt about it. The packers d will give up some points, but eli will give them a couple turnovers.

Packers should win by double digits. THen all we need to do is beat the giants in our house and the division is ours
