I am personally familiar with a lot of what this guy is talking about. I tend to believe it.

I don't want this thread to turn into a "debate" necessarily, but I would like to hear everyone's thoughts.

I have seen a few of his videos on PBS. Interesting stuff. He is pretty good at dumbing down some complicated physics.

I would highly suggest his book. I plan on reading it a second time in the next month, as time permits. It wasn't hard, but a second go-through should reveal some more terrific concepts.

String theory has popped up bigtime in the last 20 years...I personally think it will be a while before it is challenged.
