“It’s going to be awesome,” Fiammetta said. “I’ve been waiting for it. I feel great. It’s a good time to come back, big game, and I want to make a difference.”

Very happy for the young man. I'm sure the mystery surrounding his illness had to be worrisome and discouraging to say the least. The fact that he's able to practice and return to action is very good news.

No one is more happy about this than the guy in my sig DeMarco Murray. Murray hasn't done much in the last 3 weeks.

Totally disagree. He didn't do much against the Cardinals, but he did very well against the Dolphins and Redskins. Those are the types of games you need to consistently win games in the NFL. I will take the effort from those two games any day.

Love the kid, but he didn't play well against Washington. Against Miami he was ok but far from great.
Against the Deadskins: 25 carries, 73 rushing yards, 2.9 yards per carry
Against the Phins: 22 carries, 87 rushing yards, 3.9 yards per carry
Overall in the last 3 games: 59 carries, 198 receiving yards, 3.3 yards per carry
He's got to play better period.

If you judge it solely on stats, then you are right. If you judge it on what holes were available to run through and how he moved around and made the most of what was there he had a couple of very good games. He couldn't have played better against the Skins and Dolphins. The offensive line could have performed much better.

I guess you didn't care to look at the run defense rankings of those teams huh?

I was getting very concerned for him.
To hear him so upbeat and being able to play football again is just awesome.
Our running game is better with Fiammetta in.

I really don't like the odds of this kid playing with us for many years. It would be good if he could go the rest of the year.
if there is a great blocking FB who can run (i.e. not molasses slow) next draft we should pick him in the 5th round. I really think this kid is going to be medically retired very soon.

This guy must just like to hit people. That's all he does, and I love that he sees that as a contribution.
I'm liking him more and more.

I'm liking him more and more. That is the best part about playing FB really. You get a running start to slam into someone. It is a great adrenaline rush.

I worry about his longevity past one game...
