There's a good chance that undrafted rookie Kevin Kowalski will start at center for the Cowboys on Saturday night at Tampa Bay.
First-year starting center Phil Costa left Sunday night's game in the second quarter with a concussion. With one fewer day to recover this week, Costa might not be able to pass the NFL-mandated concussion tests in time. The Cowboys' athletic training staff will evaluate Costa's symptoms all week before making a final decision.

I have no problem with them simply just sitting Costa. It's not like he's been all world and we certainly won't miss his in ability to remember the snap count.

Frankly I was pretty impressed with Kowalski play. Hopefully he can take advantage of this off season and be ready to compete for a starting job next season.

so if Costa is out we might get some idea of what the staff thinks about Arkin's progress. If he is looking decent he'll dress. If not, Loper gets the call.

Watching Killer play I think he already is an upgrade over Costa.

No, Jerry probably wants more the more expierenced player(Costa) starting, although I like Killer, and wouldn't be mad if hes out there. Kowalski has impressed me from what little bit I've seen him play.

I was as well, and as soon as I saw him enter the game, I keyed in on him. I think he did a VERY good job!
