Texans | Wade Phillips has kidney condition

Updating an ongoing story, Houston Texans defensive coordinator Wade Phillips (kidney) will undergo surgery this week to address a kidney problem. He is expected to miss a week to 10 days, but he said the issue is not life threatening. Linebackers coach Reggie Herring will run the defense in Phillips' absence.
