Gotta root for the Skins on Sunday.

For one of the very few times in my entire life I will be rooting for the Skins tomorrow.
Although I think Dallas is going to win out and win the division on their own merit anyway but I'll certainly take a Skins win tomorrow.

They have about as good a shot as Tampa did tonight. Unless Eli has one of his four turnover performances, I don't see how they even keep it close let alone win. They had their last shot against NE already.
The Skins suck so bad i'm not even going to waste my time rooting for them and just chalk it up as a NYG win

That's my point. They are a bad team who got up one final time this season (and still lost). They'll quit early in all likelyhood.

The Giants D has been like ours at times. Making average to bad QB's look like Pro Bowlers wee shall see. Jacobs might go back to sucking since he's not playing the Cowboys

I believe that Giants are aware we won tonight and will come out gunning for the Skins so they can keep pace at 8-6.

I'm sure you know it's a big difference between the eagles organization and the redskins organization. The skins are ALLOWED to FAIL every year but the Eagles know the city of Phila ain't going for failure
Hey, if the mad bomber can make a few long completions, the Skins could put the Giants down. I would love to see the G-men come to the Cowboys game feeling like losers, and leaving after the game as losers, of course.
I love the idea of the Cowboys going up north and leaving millions of New Yorkers depressed with their team out of the playoffs.

The only way that we can win the division without having to beat the Giants in week 17 is for us to beat Philly next week and have the Giants lose tommorow to the Skins and lose the following week to the Jets.
Not a very likely scenario, thus we are going to have to take care of business ourselves. Besides, if we cant beat the Giants for the division then we really dont have any business being in the playoffs. Having to root for other teams to beat the Giants because we cant is just a loser mentality.
Even if the Redskins were to beat Giants, wed still have to beat them in our final game to make the playoffs, right?
Yep, we control our own destiny and the division is ours for the taking. It is really all we can ask for after so many crushing last minute defeats. To still have a chance to win the Super Bowl is just tremendous. We just need to get revenge on the Giants and do to them what they did to us in 2007 - beat them and go on to win the Super Bowl. That will be sweet.

Not necessarily. It would then come down to next week. If we beat the Eagles and the Giants lose to the Jets then we win the division. The game on Jan. 1 means nothing. Still a long way to go but if the Skins win tomorrow it gets interesting. I like the point Deion and Marshall mentioned after the game tonight that Rex will want to help his brother out and the Jets are play for a playoff spot. The Giants really need to win tomorrow because they will be in trouble if they don't.

Doubtful. Since they already beat them this year. This is a revenge game for the Giants and they're the better team. They have something substantial to play for, the Redskins don't.
All signs point to the Giants today.
The good news is this would officially eliminate the Eagles from the division title.

This!!!!! We hold our fate in our own hands. If we win out we are in. I personally would like to go to the playoffs because we are the BEST in the East not because we suck the least. If we can't win the next two weeks against division rivals then we do not deserve to go to the playoffs!!!!!

Good God. Skins leading Giants 23-3 with about 9 mins left in 4th quarter. How come the "great" Eli who is having such a wonderful season (really? so the media says) has only been able to put up 3 points. Geez. Guess we aren't the only team whose defense makes opposing QBs look like pro bowlers.
I really think all NFC East opponents hate our guts and beating us is as good as winning the SB. Maybe we should wear a different team's jersey over our Cowboy uniforms in next 2 games so both Eagles & Giants believe they playing anybody but the Cowboys. Ha. Wonder if the refs would lessen the amount of penalties they would call.

This thread is just proof, once more, that some people around here aren't quite as good at this prediction thing as they'd like to think they are.
This is why they actually play the games folks and people don't win based off of how it would go looking at it on paper.
