IRVING -- The Tony Romo-to-Laurent Robinson connection continues to pay dividends for the Cowboys.

Romo has completed a touchdown pass to Robinson inside the red zone in six of the Cowboys' last seven games.

Four times the touchdown has come on third down.

"He finds a way to get in the quarterback's vision and create a throw that the quarterback wants to make," Cowboys coach Jason Garrett said of Robinson. "He's done that throughout the season and he's been a big addition for us."

That's one thing I have noticed that some of our other wideouts don't seem to do as well as Robinson. When the play breaks down, Robinson immediately starts hauling *** into Romo's field of view. Witten does the same thing.

The other guys? It's pretty hit or miss.

He really should be the No.1 priority in the offseason. The best thing about him is that he is consistent and Romo seems to have bulit up confidence in him.

Romo and Robinson just seemed to click from the get go. The guy has been an outstanding find. Kudos to the scouting department and the organization as a whole finding this guy.

..Dez gives up and starts running around aimlessly: it's painful to watch. Maybe its' a 'feel' I don't know, but he doesn't have it and Robinson does.

Definately want, and I absolutely believe, they're going to keep this guy. He's been too good a pick up for them not too.

I think the Cowboys will take care of him. Right now though it is time to play football there will be time when the season is done and before the start of FA to get something done.

I read Todd Archer last week and he addressed why they can't pay him yet. It has something to do with the type of deal Laurent signed. It gives the 'Boys a reduction against the keep vs. his actual cap number. Because of this, they can't sign him until after the season. Again, this is what Archer explained.

Robinson is nowhere near as gifted as the 2 WRs who start ahead of him, but he does all the little thing (and some of the big ones) so much better than they do.

Romo and Robinson just seemed to click from the get go. The guy has been an outstanding find. Kudos to the scouting department and the organization as a whole finding this guy. Add to that when they signed him earlier in the offseason he was injuried and they cut him only to bring him back a few weeks later talking about being lucky.

He's been a total surprise for sure this season and his emergence kind of favors Miles' 2009 breakout year, the only difference is that Miles had more yds 1320 and 2 more TDs (11) than Laurent's 792 yds (9) tds.

I say they should resign him and we know that JJ will and it seems like Robinson has found his nyche with Tony the only thing he has to do now is stay healthy when he gets resigned.

Yea if i'm Robinson i'd re-sign whenever I can. Especially for a guy who has been around a few teams in few years and finally gets to a place where he clicks PERFECT with the quarterback.
