A drunken Green Bay Packers fan was charged with child abuse after police say the woman grabbed her 11-year-old daughter by the neck and choked her on Sunday after becoming angered by the Packers loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, the Post-Crescent of Appleton reported.
The 36-year-old Grand Chute, Wis., woman was charged Monday in Outagamie County Circuit Court with felony child abuse and misdemeanor counts of bail jumping and disorderly conduct, and is being held in jail on a $2,500 cash bond.

The woman’s husband also told police she threw her dinner on the floor, broke a lamp and tried to punch him in the face because she was upset about the game, according to the report
And do forget loving wife. :laugh2:

If she would of been a Cowboy fan, she wouldn't have done a thing.
She would of been used to losing.

Wonder if the family has a discount double check insurance program?
Seriously though...that women probably has deeper issues than just the packers loss.

I understand the crime was horrific and inexcusable, but the Cowboys comment seemed to be the portion of the article that made me angry for some reason.
Woman accused of choking her daughter because the Packers lost

Woman accused of choking her daughter because the Packers lostSo here's something sickening and disturbing: A woman in Grand Chute, Wis., has been charged with felony child abuse after police said she choked her 11-year-old daughter in a drunken fit of rage because the Green Bay Packers lost to the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.
According to the criminal complaint, the 36-year-old woman had been drinking and, upon conclusion of the Packers' loss, grabbed her 11-year-old daughter by the neck and choked her hard enough that she couldn't breathe. The woman's husband said she also broke a lamp, threw her dinner on the floor and tried to punch him in the face.
She was also charged with misdemeanor bail jumping and disorderly conduct.
Obviously, this woman is very sick and needs attention from mental health professionals and the criminal justice system. I was going to mention how the Packers' loss isn't even that big of a deal, and how most Packers fans were likely to react with a "whatever." I was going to talk about the horrific crime spree this lady would've been on if she'd been a fan of a team that knew actual pain, like the Dallas Cowboys.
None of that is relevant, though, because this crime has nothing to do with football, and everything to do with mental illness. My best wishes go out to the family
