Bryan Broaddus of ESPN Dallas and Matt Mosley of FOX Sports Southwest are both hearing that Felix Jones will not play a snap in Saturday's game against the Eagles if the Giants beat the Jets at 1PM ET.
Per Mosley, Jones will still only be 50-50 to play if the Jets win. If you have no interest in reading further, we'll tell you right now that Felix Jones is not a Week 16 fantasy option. Cowboys-Eagles has a 4:15PM ET start on Saturday, and the game will be meaningless from Dallas' perspective if the Giants win at 1PM ET because the NFC East division would not be decided until Week 17. Even if the Jets win and Jones DOES play, owner Jerry Jones has vowed that Sammy Morris will play a significant role. This, clearly, is a situation to avoid in fantasy title week.

I think he definitely plays if the Jets win. The Cowboys can wrap up the division AND get a week to rest him and others if they win.

Wouldn't be surprised if more players than Felix sit if the Giants win.

I think it is a smart decision but would be more impressed had that read Garrett.

It was interesting hearing Mayock stress that they were overplaying the fragile one during the blowout game last week.

If the Gmen win and the game is meaningless, you could defensibly sit any number of guys. Of course, you'd risk the wrath of 100,000 fans, so it won't happen.

They sat Ware and Ratliff the entire second half of last week's game. So it's very possible if the game is in hand, some banged up guys will see less action.

So, let's see if I have this straight...

Felix is fine, they are just resting him. But if the Giants win, they will rest him more, along with several other key players, because they're playing to win the game. And they're going to win the game because Jerry is scared and if the players hear he's scared, they'll be scared, which is a good thing. But if the Giants lose, Jerry has vowed that Felix may play or he may not, because the Eagles will be really scary then, which is a bad thing.

Does that sound about right?

I think Jones' injury is legit and probably enough of a concern that they are strongly considering not playing him regardless of who wins the Giants/Jets game. It's a very tough call and will be argued to pieces especially if we lose this game.

An explosive RB with a gimpy hamstring really isn't a good mix. If he does play, i think they keep his snaps in the 20-25 range and touches somewhere around 15 total.

Dumbest thing I've ever heard.

That is essentially is giving up a wild card birth in case we don't beat the Giants Week 17.

The Eagles aren't a joke. What they did to us wasn't a fluke, we need to be on our A game to beat them.

if we the giants win then the eagles game I heard is basically meaningless.
Nobody from the nfc east will make the wild card. To get to the playoffs we have to beat the giants if they win today.

So who is the GM that let us go into the game with 1 RB? Sheesh.
