While it's funny that the deadskins lost out again, they are having an terrible off-season, that now puts them right in the DE sweepstakes. What direction are they being projected to go in- assuming both wideouts are already gone when their on the clock?

That keeps the Redskins in the running for a DE, possibly in the first round.

I'm penciling in Merriman to be a Foreskin

ghst187, man that would suck! Merriman is the player I would take, even if we picked up Howard from the Saints, - multi-dimentional player. However, there are other options @ 11, but any one else is determined by the trade or lack there of. (Spears, D.J, Barron, ETC ) Of course if one of the two receivers falls to 11-disregard whole post

I don't think the Redskins take Merriman. Their needs are many but linebacker isn't one of them. They could use a cornerback, defensive end or defensive tackle or even a wide receiver. I don't see them taking a tweener to play at DE in their scheme.

well with MW, DJ, and maybe Rolle gone at 11, Merriman would be the only guy I'd use the 11 pick on, otherwise, I'd trade down.
But I do think the foreskins will be looking at WR, CB, or DE. They could go with Rolle or Jones at CB there but I doubt either WR is available and Merriman will pop up on their BPA list I'm sure.
