Basically just watching this game for fantasy purposes...

Hoping for a low scoring affair; and I think it might be one of those...

No one else in the NFC besides the 49ers really has a great Defense, they are suspect just like ours. So I wonder how many high scoring shoot outs we will have in the playoffs.

The Saints held the Falcons to a FG but aren't that great on Defense. Wonder how much success Romo could have against these D's if only the D can play decent enough to beat the Giants.

casmith07
12-26-2011, 07:52 PM
The Cowboys seem to have a lot of success against 4-3 defenses because the offensive line can handle them. We struggle against 3-4 looks, most recently, because the edge rushers were too quick for guys like Flozell and Colombo.

How many more yards does he need?

That just proved to me that The QB is as only as good as his O Line.

They played GREAT on that series.

Saints defense is brutal. They only have 13 takeaways this season. If it wasn't for Brees, the Saints would be a 6-10 team at best.

getting sick and tired of all these antics by players after a score, costing their team 15 yards, time for the NFL to start instituting one game suspensions and a heavy fine for them

And what exactly would the Cowboys record be without Romo?

How many more yards does he need?

He needed 305 before the touchdown drive. He now needs 256.

casmith07
12-26-2011, 08:06 PM
The Falcons' undoing is that they can't finish drives. No excuse for only getting 3 after they had their way with the Saints defense that first drive.

They signed Darren Sharper at exactly the right time back in the day. They need help on defense big time.

They are as I said the 49ers are the only team in the NFC either in the playoffs or contending for the playoffs that has been consistently good on Defense all season long.

Saints, Falcons, Packers are not that great or down right bad.

Lions, Giants, Cowboys have the players up front to be a dominate defense but don't live up to it and has had some games this season why they all have looked bad.

Saints/cowboy defense comparison is probably true, but the Saints offense is three times better than the cowboys in efficiency, tempo and precision..

The NFL has got to do something about the officiating. I almost think they need to create a ref position in the booth who will make the final call on certain types of fouls. Like the no-call/call on the 2 hits Gruden was complaining about.

A good start would be to drain the ref pool of these old men and get some younger eyes out there.

Brees is up by about 190 yards on Brady with 1 game to go. They can still get the 2 seed if they win and SF loses. Also, Patriots have not clinched home field advantage in the AFC yet.
