Even in defeat, Tim Tebow creates controversy -- this time in Tinseltown.

HBO's Bill Maher created a firestorm over the Christmas weekend with a scathing reaction to Tebow's subpar performance in Buffalo. Shortly after Tebow threw four interceptions in the Broncos' lopsided defeat to the Bills, Maher turned to his Twitter page to poke fun at the very religious NFL star. (And a warning: Maher's tweet includes harsh language and divisive references.)

"Wow, ***** just [screwed] #TimTebow bad! And on Xmas Eve! Somewhere ... Satan is tebowing, saying to Hitler "Hey, Buffalo’s killing them," Maher tweeted (http://twitter.com/#!/billmaher/status/150679701415936000).

Bill Maher is a jerk. However there is good money in being a jerk so I expect him to continue his crusade aginst those who do not see the world as he does.

I think Maher is a piece of trash.

After hearing some of the things he says, I seriously have fleeting daydreams of meeting him at some book signing and smashing his face in.

He is one really nasty, vile dude. But the man can be really funny.
For no reason though, one of his favorite pastimes is bashing anything remotely Christian, so this is of no surprise. He lives for that stuff. Unless there is a radical change, he's right up there in the front of the "going to burn line" for sure. I assume, but that is up to a much higher power than me.
The dark side of me would love to see Al Queda get a hold of him..or maybe if he could trade places with poor Daniel Pearl. Uh, I take that back! lol

Still, I can't deny the guy makes me laugh out loud sometimes.

If anyone else slandered any other religion the way he does Christianity, they would be called every name in the book and would maybe even be locked up for hate speech.

There's some truth there. He bashes the later for sure, not the former. He may make fun in some harmless way but certainly not bash.
