New York Giants wideouts Hakeem Nicks and Mario Manningham sat out Wednesday's practice, but in a surprising turn of events defensive end Osi Umenyiora was back on the practice field, a positive sign he could play in Sunday night's postseason play-in game against the Dallas Cowboys.
