I understand why he was fired, but I don't really think Billy Devaney is that bad of a GM. Last year the Rams were one of the up and coming teams in the league. They didn't get off to a good start implementing a complicated new offensive system with no offseason and things snowballed for the worse. I doubt he'll ever get another GM position again. It's too bad bringing in a guy like that to at least be an assistant GM or voice in the front office braintrust isn't even a remote option.
