Awesome show. I'm just now starting the last show of the season that I recorded earlier.
I wouldn't mind a taste of some of Popcorn or Tim's stuff just to see what the best tastes like.

I agree . I have a soft spot in my heart for these folks . I guess it is because my grandfather served a little time for running shine .

Could someone not legally produce this stuff?
I realize it's the fact that it can't be taxed that really makes it illegal but if someone started a legit business, could they make moonshine?

Yes , it can be legit . I think it is an expensive process to make and sell shine legally . I don't know the process , but I think it is very hard to get a license .

They mentioned the required bond to start a legal distillery. $200K.
My dad used to pick up a bit of some heavy caramel stuff from around Shreveport until Katrina hit. We actually talked about it during Xmas. Old boy who was running the still retired, or changed phone numbers. They're allowed to make X number of gallons of sippin' whisky a year for personal use.
