like Decastro because we plug him in and hes there 8 plus years but if we do go Offense in the 1st Round we better get Defense in Free Agency like Avril from Detroit to Pass Rush. We have to spend some Free Agent Dollars this Offseason for top Players not 3rd Tier Crap. We need guys like Nicks, Avril who have done it before.

I don't think Jerry is gonna spend much in FA to be honest, but no problem with discussing it. I see us going after maybe one big contract guy, and it will probably be on defense, not offense.

I hope we do use good judgement in FA, I don't see where it is paying off for teams going crazy in FA.

I don't know if they will even go after the one big name . A couple of vet role players would be my guess .

I'm sure Jones and Garrett are fine with the direction of the team, so i only see one player being targeted.
If I had to guess it would be either Campbell from Arizona or Huff from the Raiders

As deep as this draft appears to be at Guard, I suspect that the Cowboys will not be taking a Guard at #14. I think we will be taking an impact defensive player. We have young Guards that we are trying to develop now. We have vets in Holland, Dockery and Kosier that I believe the team will try to have compete for starting spots. There are some strong options in FA at Guard this year and they are guaranteed to be cheaper then FA options at OLB or CB.
I just don't see it happening.

Yeah I have to agree, I just don't see us picking a guard at #14. Sounds great, til you look at how horrible our D was this year down the stretch. We just have too many needs to pick a guard this high, teams who don't have as many needs can afford to pick a guard this high, we aren't one of those teams. Besides, we picked 2 last year anyway and if we are picking this high, I would rather get a OT and move Free inside.
Wouldn't be against moving up if we could get Dre or an OT though.
