Dallas Cowboys OG Marco Rivera (back) said his goal is to return to the field by the team's first minicamp session, which is scheduled for April 28-May 1, reports Mickey Spagnola of DallasCowboys.com. However, team doctors are not expected to rush Rivera back, so the rehab could be extended. Rivera recently underwent microdiscectomy surgery on his back, a procedure that typically takes eight weeks to heal. He has already begun running on a treadmill.

Wow, already running on the treadmill! That's how he hurt himself in the first place. Marco, get your arse off that machine and rest before you break another vertebrae, damnit!
