Brian baker, DL coach, has expressed desire to return to college. Not sure if that will happen this year.

Smell ya later.
If he has that desire, then it needs to happen this year.

Definitely.
No use having him wanting to go elsewhere in the back of his mind.

After watching our DLine get zero pressure on opposing QB's, I can see why...:laugh2:

I cannot say I would care.
Our DL was not impressive this year.

Which player on the DL would you say underachieved?
Because that's the only way I can blame the coach.

When we had Brent healthy and had a good rotation going, I was happy with our d line.
Meh. I wanted Jim Washburn (who went to the Eagles) or Butch (was later fired by NC).
Baker is not the worst D assistant on the coaching staff, but not going to gnash my teeth if he leaves.

That position can be upgraded if he leaves.
I'm not convinced a better DL coach couldn't have gotten more out of Lissemore, Hatcher, Geathers and Brent. I'm also disappointed about the number of snaps that Coleman got compared to Spears who was the better player, IMO.
