View Full Version : Flacco believes he's overlooked in Ravens' success

We all have our insecurities, and for Joe Flacco, it's apparently not being seen as the modern-day answer to Trent Dilfer.

Flacco understands why the Ravens' defense receives the lion's share of credit when the team wins, but the fourth-year quarterback doesn't believe he deserves to be an afterthought, either.

"I'm sure if we win, I'll have nothing to do with why we won, according to you guys," a smirking Flacco said Wednesday, according to The Baltimore Sun. "It is what it is. We're going to do our best to try to win it, and it doesn't really matter what the reason is."

This isn't the first time Flacco has been outspoken this season about perceived disrespect. Back in November, he said he was "baffled" by the media fawning over Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow, citing the relatively muted coverage -- in Flacco's opinion -- that accompanied the Ravens' huge AFC North win over the Steelers in Week 9.

I don't think Flacco is that good actually.

Flacco
Sanchez
Freeman

Guys that haven't gone to the next level and maybe won't– ever.

I think you can include Ryan in that mix also.

All are your proverbial "bus driver".

I agree. Ravens pretty much win due to defense and the running of Ray Rice. Main thing with Flacco is making a few plays and not turning the ball over. If he does that then Ravens chances or winning are great.

I expect to see a defensive battle this weekend with the Texan's coming in.

But he has more playoff wins than Romo. That is all that matters. ;)

Flacco sucks. If anything Baltimore wins in spite of him. He's no different than Dilfer.

He would not survive in Dallas. As much BS that Romo takes you don't hear him complain. He understands the high expectations and expects that from himself and when people come down he does not throw a fit he deals with it and keeps moving forward

It's a good thing he plays in Baltimore. He wouldn't fit anywhere in the NFC East. All 4 markets are brutal on their players...well, when they suck. When they win, they are heroes.

He kind of reminds me of Jason Campbell -- the Ravens won 4 or 5 games, in spite of him, maybe 1 because of him. The others, he was just kind of, there.

If Flacco was here, I doubt we would ever make the playoffs.

We'd win the Suck 4 Luck sweepstakes.

Flacco = Sanchez

Shut up Flacco. You quite suck from the games I've watched. Jets and Ravens...man, these teams would easily be WAYYYYY better with a half decent QB.
