Previous editions of windows allows you to make your mouse pointer automaticlly jump to selected options when a new window pops up.

I can't seem to find this option in XP. Please help.

Thanks

Appearance and themes does not exsist in this edition of XP and there is nothing in the mouse options that permits me too make this change.

I found it but it doesn't seem to function as it should. What do you think the problem is?

I've never used the feature myself, so I don't know how it works. I only know the theory behind it.

Click on "Settings" in your Start menu...

Click on "Control Panel"...

Click on "Mouse"...

Click on "Pointer Options" (3rd tab from the left at the top)...

The second box down will say "Snap To"... make sure that box is checked, click on "Apply", then "OK"..

Opticals are the best....especially if you like to photoshop a bunch.
I need to get another optical mouse for work though,
