Jim Plunkett won 2 and isn't in the hall.

He's already in after this playoff performance. He has one already and been in another one. Also Eli's last name will help too. Is it fair? No but it will help. The only question if he has two will he be 1st ballot.

So is rothlisberger 1st ballot? I don't think so...and he has been to 3.

I'll stop watching football if he goes to the HoF.

Not even close to HOF material.

I don't know is he? If you read carefully I didn't say Eli was automatic 1st ballot with 2 rings.

If he becomes a 2x Super Bowl MVP then he should start preparing his HOF speech

Yeah - he is. Probably ends up with over 40,000 yards and 300 TDs which are nice career numbers as well.

Eli's last name is Manning... not Plunkett.

His Father is Archie and his brother is Peyton.

If he wins his 2nd SB... he's in the HOF.

It's ok though because Romo will be there too.

In the audience. ;)

Like it or not, he wins another SB, he's in the discussion.

His road playoff record alone probably gets him in. Playing in NY wont hurt his chances either.

He has a recognizable last name, he plays in a big market and he was on a team that won Two Championships. That's the Mouthbreather Sports Media Trifecta. The only question is if they'll even bother to wait 5 years to induct him or if they'll just do it at his retirement press conference.

I think so too.

He's 31 and if he plays another 4-5 years he'll be over 40K in yards. If he plays like he has for the last couple of years he'll be close to 50K.

5 years at his current level and he'll have as many TDs as Montana and be around 6th in yardage.

Throw in 2 SBs, at minimum and I think he's pretty much made it in.

Terry Bradshaw is in along with Jim Kelly. If they are in, Eli will skate in with 2 rings and all the east coast love.
