He's doing well on tours and his album is doing well. I'm waiting patiently for when he's coming to Nashville / Louisville. He's suppose to be in Atlanta 2/14, but my boyfriend has an interview 2/15 in Lexington, KY so we can't go to that.

I do have Tuesday nights reserved for Parenthood, possibly my favorite TV show, since Channel 39 canceled Life Unexpected a year or so ago. But I record it anyway, so I can still watch Voice if it comes on at the same time. I really want to see one of the other three groups drive Christina. I just really can hardly stand to look at her anymore. It may end up being to difficult to even watch the show, but I'm gonna try.:D

Yeah, they did do a good job. Personally, I think Adam picked the wrong guy. Nathan's voice is way smoother and more mature, and so is his personality. Not all singers need to dance around and act like clowns on stage. (eg. Tom Petty) Pip is, well he is a pip. Great for Broadway, and that's about it. Would not listen to him on the radio. Nathan, on the other hand, could easily make a Top 40 record in the Adult Contemporary category.

the girl with the half shaved head and the one that had her jaw wired shut. other than those i didn't care for most of them, though the opera guy and the older black guy have great voices they don't have a star quality. the thing i really like about the shaved head girl is that she seems to be an actual artist with a vision for her songs whereas others are really just good cover artists

I loved Jamar when he was on American Idol a few years ago, he was my favorite and I was really po'd when they sent him home after Hollywood Week, thought they really screwed up on that one. Thought he was way better than his best friend, Danny Gokey, who frankly used his wife's death as a crutch for sympathy votes. I mean Danny was good, but no where near the talent of Jamar (or some other ones on that year). I was glad and surprised to see him on Voice this season. I think no matter how it goes down for him, he should score a record deal because his voice is amazing.

Completely shocking night. I am totally floored.

I will say, although Jamar was my favorite, I really can't argue about Juliet. She has been awesome from the get-go. A total and complete #1 hit selling package, who deserves all the good she's got coming. All I can say is that if Jamar doesn't have a record out within a year, than Celo is a total fraud, because he poured the love on real thick for him. Can't say I'm surprised to see the shock in Jamar's eyes when Celo's vote was announced. It was 50/50 imo, and Celo should have voted that way. Wouldn't have changed the outcome, because America's vote would have won Juliet out anyway, but it would have spoken volumes more to Celo's new adopted "son" (as he called him) in a positive way. He looked like someone had just stabbed him in the heart. And the back.


Just the whole night was a shocker. I can't believe the ones that won over the ones that went home. Just still can't believe it.

And tonight it was boobies and back rolls. And that horrid awful glitter eyeliner. OMG. It didn't look good on 80's hair rock bands and it doesn't look good on Christina. If I were producing this show, she would be called in my office and harshly reprimanded for her rude treatment of one of their contestants. She has no right to treat him in such a way and I am disgusted with the "show" for allowing it. When he was thanking Adam last night, he took a moment to thank all the judges for their input. Christina was actually TEXTING on her cell phone while he talked, didn't even have the decency to pretend like she was paying attention. I backed it up and slowed it down to make sure I had seen it right, and sure enough she was. Blake noticed it to, and he looked at her absolutely disgusted! She is a complete wacko and a major embarrassment to the integrity of this program.

Her choice of dress last night should not have been approved, either. She looked very tacky. And to top it off, she went out there dressed like that to sing a Prayer song! Get real, woman!:eek:

This was brought up on FB by a friend who has seen Tony play live and of course is a Tony fan. She thinks that maybe the show is brewing up the feud between Tony and Christina for ratings, drama, etc. That's possible too, but I don't think so. I don't think the shows has any problems in the ratings department.

I was just going to comment on how nice Christina looked in a sparkly tux jacket, with her shirt covering her "girls" and then she walked onstage to hug Chris Mann and she is in her freaking sparkly underwear!! Never really read this thread because I always watched the show days after it aired and it didn't want to read any spoilers. Still haven't watched the finale, but I don't really care who won. I liked Chris Mann, Jermaine Paul, Juliet, and Tony... in that order.

She does have an awesome voice, but it is not her voice that everyone is mad at. It's her stinking attitude toward a legitimate contestant on a tv show that she is contracted to be part of. She does not own the show, and I can't understand why the ones that do allow her to consistently dress and behave the way she does. So, I am mad at them, too. :)
