Since I heard the Bills are bailing on the 3-4, I thought about OLB Courtney Upshaw who most "draft guru's" had slated to go to the Bills.
Well, Seattle, KC and AZ are all on the clock and I don't see any of them selecting Upshaw.
I don't think the Cowboys can pass on a pass rushing upgrade like him.

Wonder if Buffalo is considering making a play for Mario Williams?
I don't think he would go there, but maybe they are scheming
:laugh2: nvm it's the Bills.

What's their reasoning for switching schemes?

They hired Dave Wannstedt, our old DC. he is a 4/3 guru. On a side note I heard that Miami was also going back to the 4/3.

Probably their personell. They have Dareus and Kyle Williams, both fit more in a 4-3 than 3-4 and both are tremendous players. They also have had a heck of a time trying to find a good pass rushing OLB.
With Kyle Williams becoming a 4-3 DT, we'll now officially have the lightest NT in the NFL by quite a bit. I really hope we finally move Rat.

Why wouldn't the Bills take Upshaw?
I think they will.

Upshaw is not a pass rushing upgrade.
He is definitely a better pass rusher than Ingram, that's for sure. Replacing Spencer with Ingram would be a step backwards for this defense. Replacing Spencer with Upshaw would be closer to a lateral move.
There is no one in this draft that is upgrade on Spencer.
Rather sign Spencer and use 14 to get a 10 year Pro Bowler like DeCastro or upgrade somewhere else.

I heard that about Miami also and if true getting their NT would be a huge part of my offseason plan.
