The awards are slowly coming in, because they're taping a show to air on NBC or NFL Network tonight.

I don't think he did. Even though I think Romo is a better player than Stafford, he did have a great comeback season as well and led his team to the playoffs. This is one of those things where if either Romo or Stafford win I'm ok with it.

I would think Romo coming back, immediately getting reinjured again and coming back from that with the season he had, would have put him over the top.

Stafford came back from what, exactly?

You have to be good before the injury in order for it to be a comeback. He wasn't. Undeserving selection.

I don't know who should have gotten it, mind you, I just know it shouldn't have been Stafford.

He was injured all of last season. He came back and had a great season. I don't know how you can say he doesn't deserve it.

Comeback Player of the Year is to recognize a guy who has returned to playing at a high level after a down spell (due to injury or w/e). You can't return to playing at a high level if you were never playing at a high level.

You are supposed to have been playing at a high level pre-injury.

So stupid that Rodgers wins MVP buy not OPOY. That will never, ever make sense to me. If an offensive player wins league MVP, he's also the offensive player of the year. I don't care about the "not giving two awards to the same guy" crap.
