Smart football players aren't necessarily saints off the field. Michael Irvin was a smart football player, but not your ideal role model off the field.

I don't see any position in the first but for LB. We need a passrush and this draft is deep with starting CBs and OGs in the 2nd.

After watching interviews, signing day and various videos from Kirkpatrick, I would be SHOCKED if the Cowboys drafted him. Same with Courtney Upshaw.

I haven't looked for stuff on Janoris Jenkins. At this point, I'd still say it's too early to decide. Rob Ryan has said that he is only looking at cornerbacks. I want DeCastro, so it's all good regardless.

If we had New England's truck load of picks, I'd say gamble on one...but reality is the Cowboys don't. So like it or not, games aren't won/loss by a secondary. They are what they imply, a secondary consideration. Adequate play there is functional...if, just like the offense, the front line is dominated.

what we do in FA will tell us where we are headed in the draft. if we load up on DB's in FA, decastro will be the guy. IF we sign nicks, then I bet we go defense in round 1.
