No wonder Apple's lawsuits are going nowhere even after already spending $100 million. They have idiots acting as their lawyers. Android had voice search long before Apple did. The slide to unlock thing? :facepalm:

=====================================
(Reuters) - Apple Inc has asked a federal court in California to block Samsung Electronics Co Ltd from selling its new Galaxy Nexus smartphones, alleging patent violations.
In a suit filed last week in San Jose, Apple said the Galaxy Nexus infringes on patents underlying features customers expect from its products. Those include the ability to unlock phones by sliding an image and to search for information by voice.

Its to the point even the consumers are not listening to these silly Apple lawsuits.
Its like the sit and make up stuff to spend money on, as long as its against Google.
Embarrassing
I just slid my Android phone so that I could make a call. Should I call Apple and ask if thats ok? I don't want to offend anyone.

I'd comment, but the comments after the article pretty much sum it up.
Maybe Gateway should sue Apple for creating a brick and mortar electronics store?

It's dumb because it drives Apples prices up. C'mon consumers. Get smart!

The company I work for used to be in the cell phone business. The patent infringements by everyone are numerous - including Apple, I was told. Back then, no one sued anyone over patents because everyone was somewhat guilty. Oh well.

Patent law often seems silly. But it's the law and it's enforceable.

Back then, no one sued anyone over patents because everyone was somewhat guilty. Oh well.Very often you'll have large numbers of industry participants (all competitors) enter into collective agreements, because they all realize they're infringing each others' patents. This happens in all sorts of businesses, not just cell phones. When there's a falling out, or some disagreement, they'll start suing each other until one or the other submits.
