The Trinidad Moruga Scorpion Pepper is now the worlds hottest pepper.
The golf ball-sized pepper scored the highest among a handful of chile breeds reputed to be among the hottest in the world. Its mean heat topped more than 1.2 million units on the Scoville heat scale, while fruits from some individual plants reached 2 million heat units.

This one-upping on hottest pepper stuff isn't going to stop until someone dies.
It's getting out of control. The videos on YT make some of these peppers look like a literal hell on earth.

They should make that underwear bomber eat one each day while in prison.
Drunk drivers too.

During harvesting, senior research specialist Danise Coon said she and the two students who were picking the peppers went through about four pairs of latex gloves.
"The capsaicin kept penetrating the latex and soaking into the skin on our hands. That has never happened to me before," she said.In other words, don't pick these peppers then piddle with your pecker.

I kept thinking that i would come across the ghost chili somewhere but i haven't had any luck. I might have to order it online.
BTW, how does the ghost chili compare to, say, the Habanero chili?

Simple. Eat one, then immediately have someone knock you unconscious with a baseball bat. When you wake up, you will have already endured the worst of it.

Habanero they say rates about 100,000 to 350,000 on the Scoville measurement. The Bhut Jolokia (aka Ghost Pepper) is suppose to be between 800,000 to a 1million on the scoville scale
Here is a nice link showing where the peppers rank on the heat scale

Thank you Kangaroo! I know about the Scoville scale but I was looking for a bit more descriptive comparison as far as taste and type of heat since Hos said he has tried the Ghost Chile.
