Very surprised both players ran so poorly (4.55 Adams, 4.61 Wright). I still like both players but those times may have hurt them, especially Wright.

wow.Joe adams looks much faster when he plays, this is a shame and a an oppurtunity for us to get him later in the draft.

I really expected Adams to run better. Had no idea what to expect from Wright but 4.61 would not have even been a option.

Well Wright may have run poorly but he WAS 3-4 inches taller than expected ;)

They should make them run the 40 in pads as I don't recall football being played without them.

And not on a track course, as I don't recall games being played on them.
1) They'll both run faster on their pro day
2) Adams anywhere from 4th round on is a bargain

Wow, Wright's stock is really going to fall. He was being built up as a downfield "speed" threat.

Or in a straight line. :laugh2:
If that's Wright's official time, he may have just tumbled out of the first round. He needs to kill the agility drills.

Both will get another shot at the 40 at their pro days. I still like Wright as the 2nd best WR in this draft.

Love Adams and Wright, just surprised at both their times. Wright reminds me of Greg Jennings a bit.

Yeah am I big time Kendall Wright fan. He plays much faster than that time. IMO he's the best WR in the draft. Reminds me of Santonio Holmes without being a headcase. We'll have to see what he runs at his proday but definitely disappointed with the slow time.

Yeah I'm kinda happy that Adams ran a slow time.
It means we actually have a chance to get him. You can look at any highlight of him and tell that he ain't slow. His hands can also be questionable at times, so that could cause him to fall also.
But he is just one of those guys that once the ball is in his hands, watch out.

I dunno how Joe Adams ran that slow.
Maybe overconfident in thinking he needed THIS one drill and that he had it in the bag and didn't put the work in leading up to the combine?
Who knows.
He looks blazing on the field.
I'd love to see him fall because of this. Selfishly, that is.

Forget them. Jump on the Devon Wylie train. He is what we need in the slot.

Adam's time doesn't bother me. All I have to do is look at vid of him flying around among the fastest, most athletic players in college football and I see everything I need to know.

Wylie ran a great time that could shoot him up maybe out of our reach. The only thing that holds him back is his injury history.
Meanwhile, Adams stock might cool and we might be able to get him later in the draft even if we resign Robinson.

Better pony up for that $0 deductible health insurance.
He's only played in like 40 of a possible 65 games during the time he's been at Fresno.
5 years and has missed at least 4 games or more in 4 of the years. 5 games in 2009, 12 games in 2010.
Although he did make it through 2011 without missing a game.
Where's he projected, pre-Combine?
Can't see many teams ranking a guy with less than 100 career catches over the span of 5 years that high.

So Wright is Michael Irvin's speed, gotcha.
