Elite talent against some good players.
Even as an older guy, he is still better than most currently playing.

Well, my wife and I were at the game and we went on the field afterwards and met him. I got him to sign my old Owens jersey. Pretty cool. I'd insert a pic, but don't know how...says I may NOT post attachments at bottom of page.

Randy Moss should've taken that IFL offer too...would've been funny seeing two of the best WRs of my generation having to end their football careers there

In 5 years his ego will cause him to go play against pee wee football players

What a waste of a career, if he only could have kept his mouth shut and put his ego aside.

That is all fine and dandy but those 3 TDs were in the first half, and then had ZERO catches to include a drop in the second half.

Yeah, because it's not like he's a Hall of Famer or anything  .

This is pretty sad, I agree with The Count.
There's nothing more sad than watching a guy that doesn't know when to hang 'em up. Of course, even more sad is watching a guy that's playing in the IFL because he's broke.

To be fair, I think his playing has far more to do with his financial situation than his ego.

Go here and upload it. I don't think anyone can post an attachment. Well, I've never seen one anyway.

Upload it and post the link. That will get the job done.
Wrap the link in text. like this {IMG}www.yourpicturelinkhere.com{/IMG}
Only, instead of using the {}, use normal brackets []
I'd like to see it.

How do you chew through that type of money?
At least it appears as though he's a little more humble. No more "TO" posing after TDs.

Dude we play flag football.
Why is it supposed to be any different for an athlete? He likes to play, he's getting played to play at that level, so why is that a problem or sad?
You and I, along with tons and tons of other adults, play in recreational leagues for free.
Is it sad that we don't just 'hang it up' in regards to football as well?
Come on.

I thought the guy was a huge distraction at times, but I'd never say he wasted his career.
He had an outstanding career.

He is not a happy man at all. Well this may help him get back in the NFL if teams see that his leg is not bothering him and he can still make the catches. Either way it goes its putting money in his pocket. Technically its pro football so I wonder if the stats count towards his HOF Nomination. LOL

If what he says is true, it's a matter of him trusting the wrong people. TO doesn't strike me as the extravagant type in terms of buying things. He's not one of those dudes that they show with 50 cars, diamond chains, etc.
I think he made some terrible investments and trusted people that shouldn't have been trusted.
Plus, knowing him, he probably never felt his skills would decline and the money would just keep flowing in, so he never really worried about it till it was too late.
He's not the only one to have lost a ton of cash in the recent economy.

The difference is I paid $50 to run around and have a good time. I'm not struggling at 38 years old to try and get a team to sign me because its my only source of livelihood and I'm broke.

He's not that broke. He's Co-Owner of the team he plays for.
Look at the 2nd TD catch. number 4 is by himself in the endzone. Poor dude.
