Too Expensive: From what I have heard they'd be in the 18-20 mil range for a tag. Texans are wrestling with the cap.....somethings got to give.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure Foster was still on a dirt-cheap contract, so unlike sometimes when a longer-term deal creates a lower cap figure, I don't think this helps them much.

Chron.com say's it's $22 million - which is INSANE. No way he gets tagged at that type of figure.

with Williams the Texans get burned since as a #1 overall pick and a huge salary to begin with, that one rule that requires that the player get paid more by a percentage kicks in and I heard it is almost $23 million

Heard on the news this morning that neither Williams or Chris Meyers got tagged so both are UFAs.
