So, fine, the NFL and NFLPA agreed to this. But here’s the thing. To the extent that the league and the union were agreeing to a fairly significant modification of the Collective Bargaining Agreement, it happened without formal approval being obtained by the league (via 24 of 32 owners) or the union (via its Executive Committee and Board of Player Representatives, at a minimum)...

this is worse than I originally thought. I now think this is major battle not just for this case buy for similar cases in future.

while RG is getting slammed, and rightfully so, why is D smith escaping the slaughter? what he did is just as bad. sold out two franchises went against the theory of more spending for his NFLPA all to save face on this year's cap numbers so he can keep his job? that's pretty crooked and underhanded...

What has Smith done that hasn't been crooked or underhanded?

Probably because Smith's job isn't to care about the teams, it's to care about his players. It's Goodell's responsibility to care about the fairness, integrity, and direction of the league and its teams.

And of course he failed miserably.

the more this is dug into the more it really ticks me off.

Injunction followed by lawsuit.

This whole thing is likely only going to make me more and more mad.

I REALLY want Dallas, even more so than most years, to win the Superbowl this year and have to watch the Commish be forced to hand the Trophy to Jerry Jones.

Interesting but I've been feeling the same way. I especially want us to ****ing body slam the Giants. You'd think I'd already feel this way, but I've never hated them as much as the eagles or skins. Now I do.
