Meriweather is terrible and was cut twice for a reason. His addition to the skins is great news for everyone else in the NFC East.

The thing I will always remember about Merriweather is Qcard/Charles wanting him so bad that me telling him the Cowboys took him off their Draft Board made him decide he wanted to be banned here.

I never understood that.

The only thing he has done in his football career is make a name for himself in a college game day fight on field, IIRC he swung his helmet at a guy.

Adam Archuleta signed a 6-year deal for $30 million. Merriweather signed a 2-year deal for $6 million.

Anyways, I'm skeptical of Merriweather to say the least. Best cast is he plays like he did for the Pats and has worked on his character issues, worst case is he's the same bum he's been for the past 2 years and gets cut. The Bears played him out of position so maybe he has still has something. I'm just going to hope they aren't putting all their eggs for that position in his basket. =p

Did not want this guy.

Ugh. He certainly needs to play SS. He is not good in coverage as a FS but as a SS, the kid gets the job done.

His past is his past at this point, but I still remember it.

I guess we will see.

What? Someone wanted to be banned because his pet cat wasn't going to be on the Cowboys draft board? What a goof.



And I'm glad the Skins got him and we didn't bother with him. I can't stand Merriweather.

Like the Wrs (good character guys - even if overpay Garcon), this guy seems like a real tool.

I'll take the 4-5 games Landry gives each year over him.
