I was over at the Saints forum and all of the fans on there beleive that this punishment will make the team stronger and harder to beat this year. Although some also believe that they will be worse than last years colts considering they havent signed Brees yet. How do you guys think they will do?
I think the Falcons win the division and the Saints fight a hard battle for a wildcard spot but loose to the cowboys:D

Who cares really - just more stuff to listen too 24/7 combined with the Tebow drama.
Its a stiff penalty for sure, but if it doesnt affect the Cowboys - its just another story.

Pretty dull response considering that this post is in the NFL ZONE. I think the loss of Peyton will be huge for the Saints. it has to not only affect them from a playcalling standpoint but also a moral standpoint as well.

Aints fans are high off their *** if they believe they won't struggle without Peyton. Let's not forget they also lost their best linemen in Nicks.

Until player suspensions are announced, it's impossible to answer that question.

I've heard this claim for a few weeks now, since this story broke. Saints fans are just circling the wagons, trying to make themselves feel better...we would do the same thing under similar circumstances. I think they know they won't be better for this...and when they crash and burn, I get to listen to all the whining. :banghead:

It will be interesting to see how fast they get Brees signed now.

Big Dog is exactly right. No way to tell until we know what happens to what players. If you just consider the fact that they have lost their DC and their HC, which is a huge blow to that organization, an All Pro caliber Guard and could still lose more, they will suffer. Once players suspensions start, it's going to be a real mess because Payton was very involved in all personnel moves for the Saints. It's going to be tough.
